Playing with the band at the Beachcomber last Sunday was like a time warp in which I was catapulted back to the days that inspired the song I wrote and recorded live in 2002 called ‘Comber Bound. The only major difference between now and then, was the addition of twerking on the dance floor, which has now inspired me to write such parodies as, “She Twerks Hard For The Money” (Donna Summer), “Twerking For The Weekend” (Loverboy) and “We Can Twerk It Out” (Beatles). These will all be performed by my band, Men At Twerk, of course.

My favorite SD radio station, KPRI 102.1fm, gave some more love to my cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train” on their Sunday Morning Unlugged show. Not a bad way to start the most relaxing day of the week. And, in pretty good company, I might add. All aboard! Whoo Whoo…..

Happy 8th of July

On the 7th day of this month, my 6th sense told me that I couldn’t plead the 5th for not wishing everyone a Happy 4th of July. But, after my 3rd gig in a row, my 2nd thought was, sleep came 1st! Now, I’m pretty sure today is Tuesday. Hope you all had a sparkling Independence Day.
