I’ve been kidnapped by my Aussie cousin and transported to Mexico where I’ll be force fed tequila, tacos, sunshine and sand. I’m hoping to make it back alive on Wed. for my show at Bay Hill Tavern and to celebrate our Grandpa Art’s 90th B-day.
The question is…..what do I get the old guy for this milestone celebration?
New cleats for his Thursday softball league? Some new dance shoes ’cause he still cuts a mean rug?

He definitely doesn’t need a new pair of genes!

Splish Splash….

When it comes to singing around the house, we all know what room has the best acoustics, right? Why it’s the bathroom of course! Something about the way those lyrics and notes reverberate from the shower wall, off the toilet seat and down the sink drain that makes us all feel like we could give Celine Dion a run for her money.
So, what are the most popular songs to lather up to?

Here’s the Top 5 that make me wanna hit the shower:
#5 – “Dirrty” by Christina Aguilera
#4 – “Grease” – from the Motion Picture Soundtrack
#3 – “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana
#2 “Tubthumping” by Chumbawamba
#1 “She Came In Through The Bathroom Window” by The Beatles

It feels good to come clean! Don’t forget to wash behind your ears!

Day of Labor?

Who doesn’t like a day off?! But, aren’t Monday through Fridays, for the most part, all considered “Labor Days”? “Labor Day” sounds like a day when EVERBODY’S working or someone’s giving birth. With this in mind, I’d like to offer up some alternative names for this particular holiday, rather than the obvious, “Non Labor Day”. They are as follows: “24 Hour Lunch Break Day”, “Tuesday is the NEW Monday Day”, “If Your Trash Day Is Wed, It’s Thursday This Week Day” & “2-Day Weekends Aren’t As Cool As 3-Day Weekends Day”. The two most popular names from our women’s survey, “I Wish He Had Gone To Work Today Day” & “I Wish We Would’ve Used A Condom Day”.
